DEALER INFORMATION FOR ELKHORN
MERCHANDISE: Although a variety exists (10% of dealers), the primary emphasis is on antiques and old collectibles (90% of dealers). To be added to the show, this is the type of line you must carry. No dealer pets allowed.
OUTSIDE SPACE: Most grassy spaces measure 15' front by anywhere from 30'to 60'deep. A limited amount measure 30'front by 24'deep. Some space is available on blacktop. Several different areas have access to electricity. Water and sewer are available on a limited basis. Cost: $75 plus $5 for any combination of electric/water/sewer, if needed.
GRANDSTAND SPACE: Offering some protection from the elements, these spaces are located underneath a large steel grandstand. They measure 16' x 16' and are on blacktop. Vehicles need to be parked off to the north side along the racetrack fence. Cost: $75 plus $5 for electricity, if needed.
INSIDE SPACE IN ANIMAL BARNS: The dairy cattle buildings I and II have dirt floor spaces which all measure 8' deep. Frontages are available in 21', 23', or 25' lengths. All are wall spaces. The rabbits building also has dirt floor spaces that measure 7 1/2' deep by 25'fronts. All are wall spaces. The small animals barn has a cement floor. Spaces measure 16 1/2' front by 13' deep. All are wall spaces. However, stacks of rabbit cages are intermittently piled on the walls, which take up 2', leaving a depth of 11' in part or all of the space. Cost: $75, plus $5 for electricity, if needed.
INSIDE SPACE IN CEMENT FLOOR BUILDINGS: This includes the North Hall where all are wall spaces (most are 15' front x 14' deep or 15' front x 10' deep), Junior Exhibits (15' front x 10' deep in middle of the bldg., 15' front x 8' deep on a wall, 12' front x 13' deep up against stored racks, dividers, etc.), Fair Office where all are wall spaces (15' front x 10' deep), and the Antiques building which has a 3' high retaining wall with an access gate every two spaces. Each space measures 14 1/2' front by 10 1/2' deep, but must be rented in sets of two for a total frontage of 29'. Cost: $100 each, plus $5 for electricity, if needed.
TABLE RENTALS: 8' tables are available. Quantity is limited, so reserve them early. Cost: $10 each.
DEALER SET-UP: Although this is a one day show on Sunday, dealers may arrive from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. Buildings, though, lock up at 8:00 p.m. Saturday. Hot showers and food are available on the grounds Saturday. No charge for Saturday set-up. The gate closes from 11:00 p.m. Saturday until 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning, when set-up for outside spaces continues. Buildings reopen at 5:00 a.m. Sunday. All spaces need to be occupied by 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning when four public gates open.
RESERVATIONS: Show is held rain or shine. Pre-paid reservations are non-refundable . Spaces fill rapidly. Any unreserved spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, but are becoming increasingly limited.
ENTRANCE: The reservation card mailed to you with your space number on it is your ticket to get in the dealer gate. Only one card is issued per space. No uncarded vehicles may follow you in. Helpers must ride in the gate with you. Please, no packing until 3 p.m. Sunday.
